Technical Recruiter

The role of the Technical Recruiter is to join the Human Resources Department to grow our Software Engineering Team. Ultimately, the successful candidate will be responsible for building a strong tech talent pipeline and help hire and retain skilled employees for technical positions in Bewsys.

1. Develop recruiting strategies that meet anticipated staffing needs.

2. Develop and post technical job descriptions.

3. Search for potential candidates using various sources such as databases, internet recruiting resources, networking, job fairs, media advertisements, or employee referrals.

4. Source potential candidates on niche platforms, like Stack Overflow and Github.

5. Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen IT resumes.

6. Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities.

7. Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioural questions).

8. Coordinate with the Director of Software Engineering to forecast department goals and hiring needs.

9. Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates.

10. Participate in tech conferences and meetups to network with software engineers and other technical professionals related to the core business of the company.

11. Compose job offer letters. 

12. Assisting with onboarding new hires.

13. Promote the company’s reputation as a great place to work.

14. Conduct job and task analyses to document job duties and requirements.

15. Keep up-to-date with new technological trends and products.


1. Proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter.

2. A minimum of two years of working experience, recruiting in the relevant industrial environment.

3. BSc in Human Resources Management, Software Engineering, IT or relevant degree.


1. Hands-on experience with various interview formats (e.g. phone, virtual and structured).

2. Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for software engineers, systems analysts and other technical roles 

3. Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases.

4. Source potential candidates on niche platforms, like Stack Overflow and Github.

5. Solid understanding of HR practices and labour legislation.

6. Attention to detail.
